HEADCANONS
(mostly for things canon never answers)
• Sachiko has been "alive" for more than sixty years-- due to how she can warp time in Tenjin Academy, reset deaths that go towards the same 'fate', and that Tenjin is apparently this malevolent and powerful, I want to say she's actually hundreds of years old if you include the time fuckery, which I do, because Naho posted that charm only recently, but there are completely dry skeletons in Tenjin. Time distortion is going on.
• My best guess is Sachiko plays with a set of new victims for a little while before they meet their fates before rewinding and letting them try again until she lets them stay as ghosts and gradually rot as she picks up + subsequently rewinds more students until she's bored again. The Kisaragi Crew broke the cycle.
• Yoshie was not the best mom as a ghost. As an alive person, she was wonderful. But as the darkening took hold of her, her desire for company was taken out on Sachiko, who was only seven mentally and probably barely grasped her own death.
• Sachiko murdered as practice before she murdered the three children, else, why would she be maniacally gleeful about killing three elementary schoolers? Souls = friends for mom = happiness, but that happiness twisted into delight at the act itself, and slowly she abandoned the middle woman, her mom, to keep on keeping on. Naho's charm and the influx of visitors made it the most fun of all.
• Sachiko is as unaware of her past as the game states. She doesn't know shit, down to not remembering her mother. She just remembers the elementary school killings, being corporeal for a while, and then Mad with Stab. She thinks she must have always existed this way, and thus doesn't have a concept of mercy besides becoming interested in someone enough to spare them.
• The only thing she remembers is that the Principal got what he deserved, but as to why it's [static].
• As Book of Shadows gives us, Sachiko does have a personality that isn't her living self. She has a sense of humor, she tends to be easily aggravated, enjoys other's pain without growing bored of it. She can also play childish well, but her personality is more aged than that. Sachiko has surrounded herself with teenagers who she can hear talk, complain, so on and et cetera. Even as a child, she'd gradually change to understand and convincingly fake a modern person.
• The idea of Sachiko meeting people who are stronger than her is both frustrating for her and not. She wants to be Princess Instakill for whoever gets in her way, but it's also fun to meet people who are on her level, at least deadly speaking. This is why the idea of wearing a persona at lifeaftr is so fun to her. If you can't beat them, live amongst them as a sob story until the moment is just right to betray them.
